The word “liminal” comes from the Latin word “limen,” which means threshold. To be in a liminal space means to be on the precipice of something new but not quite there yet. You can be in a liminal space physically, emotionally, or metaphorically. Being in a liminal space can be incredibly uncomfortable for most people. — Very Well Mined.

I am comfortable in the liminal space. To me transition feels almost synonymous to transformation and growth. It forces me to really face just how good I am at dropping into the present moment without worrying whats to come or what has already passed. Afterall, we all know this exact moment is all thats really guaranteed anyway.

Earlier this month I was granted the gift of taking a 12 hour walk. Epiphanies' presented themself to me with ease; one of which was “why not keep going?” “why not see what lies down this unchartered path?” I wasn’t time poor. In fact I was quite the opposite. I had all day to explore the depths of sugarloaf my otherwise busy schedule wouldn’t normally allow. And I thought to myself.. this is what life must have used to feel like.
