What would you do if you weren’t afraid to fail?

This is called the miracle question in life coaching. It asks one to simply expand their thinking. To grapple with fear and the limiting belief systems that keep them stuck playing small. It also unlocks the potential of the dreamer. The artist. The child within. Furthermore, it allows one to truly be honest with themselves about what is setting them apart from tapping into more joy in their life. Usually when one is discontent in an area of their life it is because they have prescribed the notion that their life must look a certain way, rather than feel or be a way that is truly authentic to their dharma, or life’s purpose. Sometimes this comes in the form of attempting to obtain the three p’s. Power, prestige, and possession. And either falling short, or self actualizing them just to realize they don’t make the individual happy what so ever. Because happiness isn’t derived from tangible things in my humble opinion. As human beings we yearn to feel seen. heard. and known. loved and accepted fully and wholly for that which makes us unique. Which has nothing to do with our ability to acquire or obtain. So what does it have to do with? Feeling. Honesty. Truth. With ourselves. With others. Shining the mirror and the flashlight on the fear based lies we tell ourselves that are keeping us from living our most joyous and authentic lives. Because we are enough. We always have been.
